WEEK SEVEN - MAUS AND LEGITIMIZING THE GRAPHIC NOVEL

Maus, by Art Spiegelman was amazing. I enjoyed how the story was paced out and how much personality was in each character despite them being mice. The style was simple but bold in the use of black and white shapes. Some panels were also very busy, which was something I tried to incorporate into my comic. My comic is actually based on a story my aunt told me about my great grandfather and his land.
